Certification
Two days, hands-on, on the actual equipment.
No prior suspension-therapy experience required — this course is built for licensed PTs, OTs, and clinic staff who want to run Spider and Monkey modality sessions safely and confidently.

Spider Modality
Rigging the eight-point elastic suspension, positioning for sit-to-stand and standing work, and isolating target muscle groups safely.
Monkey Modality
Setting up overhead traction for gait training and dialing in graded assistance as a patient's ability improves session to session.
Safety & Rigging
Inspecting and fitting suspension belts, carabiners, and fixation hooks — and knowing when a piece needs to be retired.
Patient Assessment
Deciding which modality, how much assistance, and how to progress a patient across a course of sessions.
Format
December 12–13, 2026.

Already run suspension therapy?
No need to switch equipment first.
Many attendees certify while still using another rig at their clinic, then bring in the Ability Exercise Unit once they're ready. The certification and the equipment purchase are two separate steps.
